Our daughter has been at Westgate Christian School since pre-K and she has absolutely loved it. They have provided a safe, nurturing environment where she has been able to grow academically, socially, and spiritually. She loves the teachers, staff, and her friends. We are so happy we chose Westgate and look forward to many more years here.
Westgate Christian School has provided a loving atmosphere for our children. Our children mean everything to us and therefore their wellbeing during the day is of utmost importance. When we were searching for a place to enroll our children we visited many of the daycares in the area. Upon our visit to Westgate, several things were immediately evident to us. Among others, specifically the loving and inclusive atmosphere of the entire staff. You could tell that the teachers loved our kids! The premises were clean and there was a considerable amount of attention to detail, which let us know that the staff was organization and put forth a well thought out day for our children every day. This was very important to us because we wanted to ensure that our children were engaged and learning. Our children have never once complained about getting to go to Westgate Christian School on a daily basis. We will not hesitate to recommend Westgate Christian School, and already have, to any family in need of a great facility for their children. We cannot begin to thank Nita and the staff for everything they have done for the Pierce family!
My two boys have attended for over a year at WCS. We truly agree that the school has been a safe and fun place for learning and individual growth and I love that it is faith based and the Christian values are taught here. The teachers truly love my kids and let me know if their personal letters sent home, class projects, and phone calls. These are the people to WANT looking after your kids. They notice anything abnormal and alert us immediately. The school has been so good for them and has expanded their knowledge. It’s so good for kids to be around others their own age and WCS has been a great resource for our family.
When we chose Westgate Christian School for our son, Thomas, we made a great decision! Thomas has thrived in the environment at Westgate. Being in a school with great teachers and parents who are supportive of their children’s education has meant that Thomas has received excellent instruction. The teachers attend to their students’ individual needs and are quick to adopt strategies that maximize the potential of not only my son but others in the class. Thomas loves going to school there and looks forward to going each day. I highly recommend Westgate if you are looking for a great private school experience.
My kids have been at Westgate Christian School since they were 14 weeks old and we could not be happier! My kids love this school! The facility is always super clean and so nice. The teachers and staff are amazing and go above and beyond for every child at this school. They treat every child like their own. My favorite thing about Westgate is that my kids are getting a wonderful education while hearing about Jesus everyday! This school is definitely more than a school, it’s a ministry that is preparing kids to be stewards of Christ.
Our daughter attends preschool and daycare at WCS. We can’t say enough good things about this school. Everyone from the teachers to the lunch ladies are absolutely the sweetest, most caring people. A couple of years ago this August, our daughter had what we thought was a seizure at daycare. The teachers and staff acted quickly and professionally to make sure her health and safety were taken care of, calling 911 and contacting us immediately. Staci made sure that the EMTs spoke with me over the phone so we could discuss what was going on and where she needed to be taken for treatment. Not a minute was wasted. Thanks to their quick actions, Lillie Kate was put in the hands of medical professionals in a timely manner, which most likely saved her life. They treat her like family, and we like to think of them as family as well. She has learned so much at Westgate and loves going to school there. They get an A+ from the Woodham family!
When we began our search for childcare for our son, Luke, we decided to ask our close friends in Dothan for recommendations. Westgate Christian School came highly recommended. After touring Westgate and seeing how clean the facility was and how personable and caring the staff was, we knew Westgate was the perfect place for our son. Luke has been in the infant, creeper and toddler rooms and each room has been a wonderful experience. Each teacher truly cares for the children in their class and it’s nice to know that our child is so well cared for and loved each day at Westgate Christian School.
We could not have picked a better childcare center than Westgate Christian School. Our son started there when he was 3 months old and he has been cared for exceptionally. The employees love him and treat him like he is their own. It’s important to trust your childcare facility and Westgate goes above and beyond on a daily basis.
